CAAN suspends Prbhau air pilot Sherpa

KATHMANDU: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has suspended Captain Pasang Sherpa, the pilot of Prabhu Helicopter Limited.

The authority has informed about Sherpa’s suspension, citing unacceptable and unauthorized cockpit activities during flights.

Captain Sherpa had reportedly kept passengers in the cockpit during flights to Gosainkunda a few months ago and engaged in prohibited activities, leading to the authority taking action.

The CAAN has indicated that a detailed investigation into the incident will be carried out soon.
