Corruption case filed against suspended executive director of Security Printing Center Poudel

KATHMANDU: Bikal Poudel, the suspended executive director of Security Printing Center, is now embroiled in a corruption case filed by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).

The CIAA has brought forward charges against Poudel at the Special Court, alleging that he fraudulently obtained permanent residency in the United States while holding a public position, based on false information.

Furthermore, Poudel is already under investigation for corruption during his tenure at the Security Printing Press.

The CIAA is actively pursuing these allegations, with Poudel currently in custody on charges related to the illicit acquisition of assets.
