Amir of Qatar set to embark on two-day visit to Nepal starting Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, is scheduled to arrive in Nepal for a formal two-day visit on April 23.

During his visit, the Qatari Amir will engage in discussions with Nepali leaders aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing various issues of mutual interest, as stated by the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nepal, Mishal bin Mohammed Al Ansari.

Furthermore, both parties are expected to sign agreements and memoranda of understanding across several fields, as confirmed by the Qatari Ambassador.

The visit holds significant importance, with a key focus on addressing the concerns of Nepali migrants and advocating for their rights, as emphasized by officials.
