Mr Prime Minister, here is the evidence that Home Minister Lamichhane received money (with full report)

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal faced inquiries from lawmakers in parliament on Tuesday regarding allegations against Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in a cooperative fraud case.

Despite queries, Prime Minister Dahal denied Lamichhane’s involvement, citing a lack of evidence.

Acknowledging that a complaint had been filed against Minister Lamichhane at the District Police Office in Kaski, PM Dahal defended Lamichhane, stating that the complaint lacked substantial evidence.

While the Prime Minister maintains Lamichhane’s innocence, Khabarhub has obtained a report prepared by the Case Study Committee of Pokhara Metropolitan City, which sheds light on Lamichhane’s involvement.

The report reveals that Lamichhane received Rs 10 million from the Pokhara-based Suryadarshan Cooperative, as mentioned on page 78 of the report.

However, during Tuesday’s parliamentary session, PM Dahal reiterated that no concrete evidence linking Rabi Lamichhane to the case has been uncovered thus far.

Following Lamichhane’s inclusion in the metropolis report, a complaint was officially filed against him.

Despite the evidence presented in the report, PM Dahal, who pledged to implement the findings of the Gold Smuggling Probe Committee, appears to be disregarding the report prepared by Pokhara Metropolitan City.

The metropolis initiated a committee to investigate the case at the request of the Kaski District Police Office, highlighting the seriousness of the allegations against Minister Lamichhane.
