NAFA’s exhibition features creations from Nepal, Germany

KATHMANDU: An international art exhibition is underway at Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Naxal.

The weeklong expo features works created during the two-day international art workshop 2024 held on February 5-6. The works are of 43 artisans from Nepal and Germany.

The event themed ‘connecting culture through arts’ has the participations of 10 foreign artists and it is expected to contribute to enhancing bilateral relations between Nepal and Germany, according to NAFA Chancellor Naradmani Hartamchhali.

Minister of State for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sushila Sirpali Thakuri, Israel’s Ambassador to Nepal, Hanan Godar and German Ambassador to Nepal, Dr. Thomas Prinz, visited the exhibition on Tuesday evening.

During the visit, the Minister of State, Sirpali, said this sort of expo would have significant contribution to the exchange of cultures, tourism promotion and the enhancement of bilateral relations between the countries concerned.

She also underlined the need of giving continuity to such events in the days to come.
