Tragic Discovery in Sitapaila: Mother and two daughters found dead, father’s body found in Jungle



KATHMANDU: A harrowing scene unfolded in Sitapaila, Kathmandu, as the bodies of three individuals were discovered, marking a devastating tragedy for a family.

The deceased, identified as Ishwori Shrestha, aged 38, and her two daughters, Anisha Shrestha, aged 8, and Siwani Shrestha, aged 2, were found lifeless.

They were all members of the same family.

Originally from Dudh Kunda Municipality-10 in Solukhumbu, the family had been residing in a rented room in Nagarjun Municipality-6.

Preliminary investigations point towards the possibility of foul play, suggesting that the trio may have been victims of a heinous crime.

In a distressing twist, the husband of Ishwori Shrestha was also discovered deceased, his body found hanging from a tree in a nearby jungle.
