KATHMANDU: Nepal is playing against Bangladesh in the ‘Super Four’ stage of the Women’s U-19 Asia Cup cricket tournament today.
The match is scheduled to begin at 11:45 am Nepali time in Kaula Lumpur on Friday.
Nepal, which secured an impressive 6-wicket victory over Pakistan in their opening group stage match, shared points with India.
Having finished as the runners-up in the group stage, Nepal currently sits in third place with four points, following a point-sharing draw with Sri Lanka on Thursday.
India, the winner of Group ‘B’, leads with five points. Although Nepal and Bangladesh both have four points, Bangladesh holds second place due to a superior run rate.
Sri Lanka is at the bottom of the Super Four table with three points.
If Nepal defeats Bangladesh in Friday’s match, they will advance to the final, which is scheduled for Sunday morning.
