KATHMANDU: Westerly winds are currently influencing weather patterns across the country.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division, the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country is experiencing clear skies.

Fog is present in some areas of the Tarai and the Valley.

The Himalayan, Tarai, and hilly regions are expected to remain mostly clear in the afternoon.

The Division has urged the public to take necessary precautions due to the possibility of mist and fog in some areas of the Tarai and Valley during the morning, which may impact daily life, tourism, mountaineering, transportation, and aviation.
