Three committees of Federal Parliament scheduled to meet today



KATHMANDU: Three committees of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to meet today: the Finance Committee, the Legislative Management Committee, and the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee.

The Finance Committee will convene at the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar at 11 am.

The agenda includes discussing priorities and action plans regarding the bills received by the committee, with the Finance Minister in attendance.

Additionally, the committee will review the status of revenue collection within the country’s economic framework, as well as the policy and practical challenges faced by customs offices and potential solutions.

At the same time, the Legislative Management Committee will also meet at Singha Durbar to conduct a clause-by-clause review of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Bill-2081.

The Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee will meet at 11:30 am at Singha Durbar, where it will discuss the draft of the on-site monitoring report.
