Triyuga Municipal Hospital inaugurated



UDAYAPUR: The Triyuga Municipality in Udayapur district has started the operation of a municipal hospital by developing the facility at Deuri area of the municipality.

Mayor of Triyuga Municipality Basanta Kumar Basnet inaugurated the hospital’s services.

He said that the hospital should cater services to the local people so that they don’t have to visit the district hospital for their treatment.

Mayor Basnet said that the number of patients will be limited in the district hospital after the operation of the municipal hospital.

Currently, 16 health workers including three doctors, three senior health workers, two staff nurses and others have provided health care services from the municipal hospital.

In the initial phase, the hospital would provide emergency health care services, family planning services and laboratory services, the hospital administration said.
