Efforts underway to systematize urban development in cities: DPM Singh



KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, emphasized that infrastructure development is a priority, with ongoing efforts to make cities more systematic.

Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu Constituency-1 today, DPM Singh highlighted the ministry’s commitment to constructing safe and orderly cities, noting that the results of these efforts will become evident over time.

“I am actively working on these initiatives, but it will take time to see noticeable improvements. However, I am confident that people will eventually experience the change,” he stated.

DPM Singh also mentioned that the ministry is taking steps to reduce pollution in the Bagmati, Bishnumati, and other rivers in the Kathmandu Valley, alongside initiatives for improved sewerage management.
