Ghimire nominated as chief whip of Nepali Congress parliamentary party

KATHMANDU: Shyam Kumar Ghimire has been appointed as the Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party.

Party’s President Sher Bahadur Deuba nominated Ghimire to the post on Saturday.

Ghimire’s appointment comes following the elevation of Ramesh Lekhak to the position of Home Minister.
