CPN (US) to continue supporting current government

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal stated that his party supports the current government to address public concerns and ensure the country’s development.

During a news conference organized by the Socialist Press Organization in Bardibas, Mahottari, on Thursday, the former Prime Minister affirmed that the present ruling alliance would continue, emphasizing that it was established to meet specific objectives.

“The alliance with the government was formed to promote prosperity and meet the people’s needs. The alliance will not break due to our reasons,” Chairman Nepal said.

However, he noted that intensive talks were lacking among the ruling parties in the alliance and highlighted the need for more consultations.

Chairman Nepal suggested that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ should take a leading role in maintaining relations among the ruling parties.
