Shahid Laldhwoj Roadway in Tanahu being upgraded



DAMAULI: The Shahid Laldhwoj roadway, which connects Shuklagandaki to Byas municipality in Tanahu district, is currently undergoing upgrades.

The District Infrastructure Development Office has issued a tender notice for the project. Bidding for the contract, valued at Rs 150 million, commenced on Wednesday.

The detailed project report was prepared after securing Rs 40 million from the Gandaki Province government.

Additionally, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructures and Transport Management, along with the Economic Affairs Ministry in the province, has allocated Rs 150 million for the roadway’s enhancement.

It is noteworthy that the roadway was first opened 28 years ago.
