Speaker Ghimire calls Business Advisory Committee meeting

KATHMANDU: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has called a meeting of the House of Representatives Business Advisory Committee this morning.

The Speaker called the meeting as Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is scheduled to take a vote of confidence from Parliament today.

The meeting has been called at 10 am in preparation for the vote of confidence.

The opposition party, Nepali Congress, which has been demanding a parliamentary investigation committee to probe the cooperative case against Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has said that it would obstruct Monday’s meeting of the House of Representatives.
