This is not a cursed nation; rather a nation drained by leeches: Home Minister Lamichhane

ILAM: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane, also the Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has accused certain elements of painting this country as cursed and plundering it in the same vein.

Addressing a press conference held in Ilam as part of the by-election campaign, Chairman Lamichhane asserted that the nation is not cursed but rather being severely exploited by leeches, referring to certain political leaders.

He emphasized that honesty is the cornerstone of his party’s electoral campaign and urged voters to support them for their integrity, sincerity, and commitment to change.

“We have honest candidates with us, and with their help, we can rebuild the country. We cannot bribe others, nor can we be bribed. We possess honesty, courage, and determination. This country is not cursed; it is a nation drained by leeches. Sycophants will face consequences. This is what the people comprehend,” stated Lamichhane.
