Unified Socialist to seek clarification from Deepak Manange



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Unified Socialist Party has decided to seek clarification from Deepak Manange, an independent Member of Gandaki Province Assembly and currently a minister in the Nepali Congress-led government regarding his status.

The decision to seek clarification from Manange was made during a meeting held at the party’s central secretariat on Wednesday.

The Unified Socialist Secretary Jeevanram Shrestha stated that Manange, who first Joined his party and subsequently became a minister, has now become a minister without any prior discussion.

Therefore, clarification has been sought as his ministerial appointment came amidst changes in the political landscape.

He added that instructions have been given to the provincial committee to seek clarification from Manange.

During the 2022 elections, Manange was elected as an independent candidate from Province 1 (B).
