NC demands Home Minister Lamichhane’s resignation even today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC), the main opposition, has escalated its call for the resignation of Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

Upon the commencement of today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) convenes today, tthe session, Nepali Congress MPs stood up, disrupting proceedings.

Responding to the disruption, Speaker Devraj Ghimire granted MP Ishwari Neupane the floor.

Neupane emphatically asserted the necessity for an investigation into Home Minister Lamichhane’s involvement in the cooperative case, urging his immediate resignation.
