KATHMANDU: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation, Balaram Adhikari has said that the Ministry is currently amending and reforming outdated Acts, Regulations, and laws that conflict with the Constitution.

He emphasized that these outdated regulations and traditional thinking have made it challenging to carry out tasks related to land survey, revenue, and land management.

Minister Adhikari highlighted ongoing disputes and issues concerning land use, tenure, and ownership across the country, including areas like Dharan, Bhairahawa, Birgunj, and Janakpur.

He stated that the Ministry is committed to implementing good governance and policy reforms to address these land management challenges.

Minister Adhikari said this while visiting the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Central Office in Bhadrakali today.
