Half of HoR seats empty during budget debate (Photos)

KATHMANDU: The Appropriation Bill-2081 continues to be debated focusing on various ministries.

During the discussion on ministry-wise allocations under the Appropriation Bill, the House of Representatives witnessed alarmingly low attendance among parliamentarians.

Photos from Wednesday’s session reveal more than half of the seats in the House of Representatives were vacant, despite the critical nature of budget discussions.

The lack of attendance indicates a concerning lack of seriousness among MPs regarding the deliberation on ministry-wise allocations under the Appropriation Bill.

Wednesday’s session of the House of Representatives highlighted disappointing attendance levels among MPs, raising questions about their commitment to parliamentary duties.
