Gagan Thapa challenges Home Minister Lamichhane to form probe committee on allegations

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa has challenged Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane to form a probe committee to investigate the allegations he made in parliament on Sunday.

Thapa held a press conference at the Lhotse Hall of the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor on Sunday evening.

Thapa stated that after Home Minister Lamichhane spoke in the House of Representatives, his party members requested the opportunity to respond, but Speaker Devraj Ghimire did not grant them time.

Thapa demanded the formation of a probe committee to investigate all the issues raised by the Home Minister.
