National Assembly meeting postponed

KATHMANDU: The National Assembly (NA) meeting scheduled for 1:15 pm this afternoon has been postponed without initiating the session.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the NA meeting has been rescheduled for 1:15 pm on Monday.

The Parliament has recently become a victim of the tussle between the main opposition party, Nepali Congress, and the ruling coalition parties.

The NC has been obstructing the parliament, demanding a parliamentary probe committee to investigate Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane’s alleged involvement in cooperatives-related fraud.
