KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has said that westerly and local winds are currently influencing the country’s weather patterns.
According to the Division, light to moderate rains accompanied by thunder, lightning, and gales are occurring in some parts of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.
The hilly regions, including Koshi, Madhes, and Sudurpaschim provinces, are experiencing partly to generally cloudy conditions.
The Division has indicated that the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will also enjoy mostly clear skies.
There is a forecast for light to moderate rain with thunder, wind, and lightning in some areas of Bagmati, Koshi, and Gandaki provinces.
This weather pattern is also expected in the hilly parts of other provinces and in one or two locations in the Terai region of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Additionally, the Division has mentioned the possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of the country.
