Seto Machhindranath Jatra: Women’s power comes on display on Friday (with photos)



KATHMANDU: The chariot of Seto Machhindranath has been stationed in Lagantol of Kathmandu on Friday.

The chariot, brought to Lagantol on Thursday, was pulled by women today.

Even Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s Deputy Mayor, Sunita Dangol, participated in pulling the chariot during the procession.

According to tradition, the chariot is rotated thrice around the temple located in Lagantol.
