Gandaki province assembly postponed indefinitely

POKHARA: The Gandaki Province Assembly meeting, scheduled for Friday, was postponed due to the absence of opposition parties.

The inaugural session of the assembly was deferred as the main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), continued its protest.

NC has declared its refusal to participate in the provincial assembly meeting until the Supreme Court delivers its verdict on the dispute concerning the validity of Chief Minister Khagaraj Adhikari.

Following the boycott by the opposition parties, the Speaker indefinitely postponed the assembly meeting.
