Two die in Palpa tipper mishap



RAMPUR: A tragic incident unfolded at Arthokgha Rahabas of Mathagadhi rural municipality-5 along the Rahabas Khaireni road section in Palpa district today, resulting in the loss of two lives.

The victims, identified as 24-year-old Pradeep Kumal from Tilottama municipality-16 and 18-year-old Manish Pariyar from the same locality, were the driver and assistant driver, respectively, of a tipper (Lu 2 Kha 561) en route to Mathagadhi rural municipality-5, Dhamika from Khaireni of Rupandehi district, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Palpa.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Suganda Shrestha at the DPO, Palpa, confirmed that the accident occurred when the tipper was on its way.

The authorities have yet to determine the cause of the tragic incident.

Both victims lost their lives on the spot. The unfortunate incident marks a somber day for the community, leaving behind grief and unanswered questions.
