NC Prez Deuba convenes meeting of office bearers and ex-office bearers to forge consensus

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of current and former office bearers to build consensus on proposals slated for discussion in the Mahasamiti meeting.

In light of the inability to reach a consensus regarding the presentation of the organizational report during the Mahasamiti meeting, Deuba has initiated discussions with party leaders.

Min Bahadur Bishwakarma, Chief of the NC’s Publicity Department, stated that the meeting of office bearers aims to establish a unified stance in the Mahasamiti meeting.

The meeting has been convened at Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha at 5 pm today.

NC central committee encountered difficulties in reaching a consensus on the organizational report prepared by the party’s General Secretary, Gagan Thapa.
