Nepal witnessing varied weather conditions

KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of western winds affecting Nepal’s current weather conditions.

The weather is currently clear in the hilly regions of the country, encompassing Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces, according to the Division.

However, the remaining areas are also experiencing clear conditions.

Notably, some locations in the Terai region are witnessing thunderstorms.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to maintain mostly clear conditions in the hilly areas, covering Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

In contrast, other regions may experience partial cloudiness.

There is a chance of light rain in a few places within the Sudurpaschim Province and certain hilly areas.

Additionally, a possibility of light snowfall exists in specific high hills and Himalayan regions, including Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces.

During the night, the weather is projected to remain predominantly clear in the hilly regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while other areas might experience partial cloud cover.
