Foreign Minister Dr Deuba departs for India



KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has departed for New Delhi, India, following her visit to Berlin, Germany.

Prior to her visit to Germany, Minister Deuba toured Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

In Berlin, she participated in the 2024 conference on the rights of sexual and gender minorities.

During the event, Minister Deuba discussed the challenges faced by gender minorities worldwide, including violence, oppression, and systemic inequalities.

She emphasized the need for fundamental policy transformations and highlighted the potential of feminist foreign policy in driving long-term change.
