Prachanda calls meeting of opposition parties



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the main opposition party, Maoist Centre, Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, has called a meeting of opposition parties in Parliament.

According to Prachanda’s secretariat, the meeting will take place at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar shortly.

The agenda for the meeting includes discussions on current political issues and the situation following recent floods.

Invitations have been sent to various opposition parties, including Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Unified Socialist Party, and Janata Samajwadi Party, among others.

Opposition parties have been criticizing the government for its lack of attention to the relief and rehabilitation efforts for flood victims.
