Coalition’s task force presents CMP to PM

KATHMANDU: The task force formed by the coalition government led by the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML has presented its common minimum program (CMP) to Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli on Wednesday. 

Leaders said that the task force will present the common minimum program (CMP) to the Prime Minister on Wednesday after approval by the Cabinet. The task force consists of Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa and spokesperson  Prakash Sharan Mahat, and from UML, Deputy General Secretaries Pradeep Gyawali and Bishnu Rimal.

Congress General Secretary Thapa informed that in the common minimum program, the issues of making the economy sustainable and advancing the program of youth partnership have been emphasized.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, this presentation aims to provide a clear framework for the government’s agenda.

Following the review of the common minimum program(CMP), the Prime Minister is expected to move forward with the formation of the Council of Ministers, setting the stage for the coalition’s governance strategy.
