Husband allegedly beats wife to death in Mahottari



MAHOTTARI: A man from Sonukhada village in Mahottari Rural Municipality-1 has been charged with beating his wife to death.

According to Superintendent of Police Nakul Pokharel of the District Police Office, 45-year-old Habib Nadaf allegedly assaulted his 36-year-old wife, Roshana Khatun, leading to her death.

The incident occurred on Saturday, reportedly following a domestic dispute.

Police suspect that Roshana Khatun’s death may have been due to a lack of timely medical treatment.

The body has been sent to Jaleshwar Regional Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Meanwhile, the police are actively searching for Nadaf, who fled the scene after the fatal incident.
