JANAKPURDHAM: The Nepali Congress (NC) is prepared to participate in the Madhesh Province government, taking charge of four ministries, including the crucial Ministry of Finance.

Chief Minister Satish Singh confirmed the agreement, stating, “Nepali Congress will participate after agreeing to lead four ministries, including finance. The oath will be taken at 5 o’clock today.”

The NC is getting four ministries, including the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture, and Cooperatives led by Janardan Singh Chhetri; the Ministry of Finance led by Sunil Kumar Yadav; the Ministry of Energy, Irrigation, and Drinking Water led by Shesh Narayan Yadav; and the Ministry of Labor and Transport led by Kaushal Kishore Rai.

Previously, Chief Minister Satish Singh faced challenges in expanding the cabinet due to Nepali Congress’s insistence on retaining the Ministry of Finance.
