Seven new ministers sworn in Lumbini Province



KATHMANDU: Lumbini Province witnessed the swearing-in of seven newly appointed ministers on Thursday.

Province Chief Amik Sherchan administered the oath to these newly appointed ministers.

Chief Minister Jokh Bahadur Mahara appointed Dinesh Panti, Arjun Bahadur KC, Bhumishwor Dhakal, and Ratna Bahadur Khatri from CPN-UML, Dharma Bahadur Chaudhary from Nagarik Unmukti Party, Khadka Bahadur Basnet, an independent lawmaker, and Bagwati Adhikari of CPN (Unified Socialist) to serve as ministers in the province.

While the portfolios for these new ministers are yet to be assigned, their induction has expanded the Sudurpaschim Province Cabinet to 11 members.
