Nepali citizen dies in Dubai flood tragedy



KATHMANDU: Tragedy struck as a Nepali national lost his life in a flash flood in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi confirmed that Mohan Pun from Bharatpur was a victim of the flash flood caused by heavy rainfall.

Pun, employed at a café in the UAE, succumbed to the unfortunate incident.

The UAE has experienced relentless downpours over the past two days, resulting in the closure of government offices.

Pun had recently arrived in the UAE on a visit visa.
