New ministers and state minister sworn in Madhesh Province



KATHMANDU: Madhesh Province welcomed three new ministers and one state minister into office as they took their oath of office and secrecy.

Bharat Prasad Shah and Yubraj Bhattarai from CPN (Maoist Center), along with Bechi Lungeli from CPN (Unified Socialist), were sworn in as ministers on Thursday.

Province Chief Sumitra Devi Bhandari administered the oath to these newly appointed ministers.

Bhattarai has been designated as Minister for Industry and Tourism, while the portfolios for the other two ministers are yet to be assigned.

Additionally, Sharada Thapa from CPN (UML) has taken the oath as State Minister for Home, Communications and Law.

Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav has restructured his Cabinet for the 11th time in the last 15 months.
