UML Chair Oli labels coalition govt ‘traitorous’

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli denounced the coalition government, branding it as ‘traitorous’.

Speaking at a program in Chyasal of Lalitpur on Thursday, Oli, asserted that there is an urgent necessity for a movement against the current Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government.

He criticized the ruling coalition, saying, “There is a saying that birds of the same feather fly together. They belong to the same race. They are of corrupt descent.”

UML Chairman Oli, also a former Prime Minister, stressed the importance of initiating a movement supported by the people to salvage the country from the grip of corrupts.

“We (UML) should be proud as the ruling coalition does not dare to fight alone,” Oli stated.

Oli also accused the government of being a patron of corruption.

“Commissioning and its protection, smuggling and its protection, the government is the protector,” Oli criticized the government.

He further emphasized that “Mission 2084” could not afford to wait, especially if the country is on the brink of destruction.
