KATHMANDU: Currently, westerly winds are prevailing across the country, with a general influence of local winds in the hilly areas, according to the Weather Forecast Division.
In the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, the weather is partly cloudy, while the rest of the country is mainly clear. Some areas in the Terai region are experiencing fog and mist.
This afternoon, partial rain is expected in the hilly areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province, while the remainder of the country will remain mainly clear.
The Division has also forecasted a chance of light rain in one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, partial rain will continue in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki, with the rest of the country staying mainly clear, according to the bulletin issued by the Division on Sunday morning.
