Chief Administrative Officer Pradeep Pariyar bid farewell to Mayor Balen Shah.
KATHMANDU: Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Balen Shah flew to Brazil on Monday to attend a meeting of the Metropolis Director Committee.
The meeting will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, on June 19 and 20.
Mayor Shah is scheduled to return to Nepal on June 22.
Earlier, Mayor Shah was elected as a board member of the World Association of the Major Metropolises.
The summit, held from June 12 to 15, elected Shah as a board member for the term from 2024 to 2026.
