UML Chair Oli criticizes NC for disrespectful behavior in Parliament

KATHMANDU: KP Oli, Chairman of the CPN-UML party, condemned the Nepali Congress (NC) for their discourteous conduct during Thursday’s House of Representatives (HoR) session.

Speaking briefly to the media at the Federal Parliament premises in New Baneswor on Friday, Oli emphasized that Parliament is not a venue for conflict.

He also expressed his dismay at the Nepali Congress’s attitude towards journalists.

Oli recounted how Nepal Congress lawmakers encroached into the ruling party’s space, resorting to abusive language and displaying disrespect.

He speculated that their anger stemmed from their belief that they had been ousted from government.
