Airee climbs to 11th position in ICC all-rounders rankings



KATHMANDU: Nepali national cricket team member Dipendra Singh Airee has made significant progress in the ICC T20 rankings as an all-rounder.

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), he has risen to the 11th position from his previous ranking of 14th.

Additionally, in the latest batting rankings, Airee has surged to the 62nd position, marking a notable improvement of 16 places.

Airee has been delivering exceptional performances in the ongoing ACC Premier Cup Cricket tournament in Oman.

In a recent match against Qatar in the Cup, he showcased his prowess by hitting six sixes in a single over.

Furthermore, in the updated ICC rankings for batsmen, Nepali team captain Rohit Kumar Paudel holds the 53rd position, while Aasif Sheikh has climbed to the 75th rank, advancing by 36 places.

Similarly, Kushal Malla now occupies the 100th position, having moved up by nine spots.
