KATHMANDU: Nepal continued its winning streak in the ACC Premier Cup, clinching a fourth consecutive triumph by defeating Saudi Arabia.

In a T20 match truncated to eight overs due to rain and a waterlogged outfield, Nepal opted to field first after winning the toss.

Saudi Arabia, batting first, managed to set a target of 73 runs, losing seven wickets in the process.

Nepal’s bowlers, including Karan KC and Abhinash Bohara, stood out with two wickets each, while Lalit Rajbanshi and Pratish GC chipped in with one wicket apiece.

Abdul Waheed was the highest scorer for Saudi Arabia with 37 runs.

In the second innings, Nepal showcased its batting prowess, with Gulsan Jha leading the charge with 32 runs.

Dipendra Singh Airee and Rohit Poudel contributed 17 and 16 runs respectively to the team’s total, guiding Nepal to a comfortable victory over Saudi Arabia.
