Nepal chases 74 in eight overs to beat Saudi Arabia in ACC Premier Cup

KATHMANDU: Saudi Arabia has set a target of 74 runs, losing seven wickets, for Nepal to clinch victory in a thrilling match of the ACC Premier Cup on Wednesday.

Nepal, after winning the toss, opted to bowl first.

Due to a rain delay and a soggy outfield, the T20 match between the two nations was shortened to just eight overs.

Karan KC and Abhinash Bohara shone for Nepal, each taking two wickets, while Lalit Rajbanshi and Pratish GC contributed with one wicket each.

Abdul Waheed was the standout performer for Saudi Arabia, scoring 37 runs.

Now, Nepal faces the challenge of chasing down the target within the limited overs to secure victory in the ACC Premier Cup encounter.
