KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported that westerly and local winds are currently impacting Nepal’s weather.
The Division has said that the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy to mostly clear in the rest of the country.
However, there is a forecast of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and lightning in a few areas across the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
In the afternoon, the weather is anticipated to be partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas, while remaining partly cloudy to mostly clear elsewhere.
There is a chance of light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Additionally, storms may develop in certain areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in a few other places across the country.
At night, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to mostly clear skies.
There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in a couple of places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki, according to the Division.
