Govt to investigate lawmaker and billionaire Chaudhary in Bansbari Land Scam Case

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has instructed relevant authorities to initiate the process of transferring ownership of 10 ropanis of land from Bansbari Leather Shoe Factory to the government.

Lamichhane made a directive to Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, Inspector General of Police Basanta Kuwar, and Chief of the Crime Investigation Bureau Shyam Gwayali this morning, according to his secretariat.

Furthermore, Lamichhane has directed the Crime Investigation Bureau to take statements from lawmaker and billionaire Binod Chaudhary regarding the Bansbari land grab case.

The Home Minister has also emphasized the immediate implementation of the gold smuggling probe commission report.
