KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, departed for Thailand today to participate in the High-Level Regional Consultation on Financing for Development in Asia and the Pacific.

According to the Finance Minister’s Secretariat, the consultation is being organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and will be held on December 17 and 18.

The event will bring together key leaders and policymakers to discuss strategies for financing sustainable development across the region.
