PL Singh’s mortal remains taken to Nepali Congress office in Sanepa for tributes



KATHMANDU: The mortal remains of former Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor PL Singh, who passed away early this morning at the age of 87, have been kept at the Nepali Congress party office in Sanepa for final tributes.

Before being transferred to the party office, Singh’s body was kept at his residence in Chaksibari until 11 am, where leaders, cadres, and well-wishers gathered to pay their respects.

Prominent figures, including Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah and Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol, visited Sanepa to honor Singh’s legacy.

Other Nepali Congress leaders and party members also paid heartfelt tributes to the late leader, reflecting on his contributions to the city and the nation.

Singh, remembered for his leadership and service, will be cremated later today.
