Gold prices see a slight rise today

KATHMANDU: After a decrease of Rs 2,200 per tola on Sunday, the price of gold has seen a modest increase today.

The Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation reports that the price of gold has gone up by Rs 400 per tola, reaching Rs 151,200.

On Sunday, it had dropped to Rs 150,800 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices remain unchanged at Rs 1,840 per tola, as per the federation.

Recently, gold prices have been fluctuating. After a rise of Rs 4,500 last week, gold fell by Rs 2,200 on Sunday and Rs 1,200 on Friday.

Three weeks ago, gold prices dropped drastically by Rs 18,500 per tola in just two days.
