KATHMANDU: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, has claimed that the Maoist Center will form the next government by toppling the Prime Minister KP Oli -led government.
Speaking at a meeting of the Maoists’ Kavre-Kathmandu Liaison Committee on Saturday, Prachanda asserted that his party is the main opposition and, should the current government be toppled, the Maoists would take the reins of power.
“Yes, in this very hall, I once said that the number 32 is a ‘magic number.’ They must have been excited and agitated by my words, but it would have happened even if I hadn’t said it,” Prachanda remarked.
“Even now, our number is magic. Because we are 32, the leader of the main opposition party. Our party is the government in waiting. The government that will be formed by overthrowing this one will be ours, so there is nothing to worry about.”
