KATHMANDU: The Westerly wind has its influence while the local winds have general impact in the hilly areas across the country at present, said the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division.
The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and mainly fair in the rest of the areas in the afternoon today. There is the possibility of light rain at one or two places of the hilly region in Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

The Department has stated that there is likelihood of occurrence of dense fog during morning and night in the Tarai region in the next 24 hours with partial/momentary impact in the agriculture health, tourism, mountaineering and road and air travel, and hence requested for taking necessary precautions.
